Sept. 12-16 Bring  Friend week -  bring someone to your classes to participate with you !
Sept. 17 Waxahachie Oktoberfest   held at Waxahachie Civic Center at the Junction of  Int. I-35 and Hwy. 287 we perform at noon  & 1:30.  Arrive 30 minutes prior to performance  Routines to be performed announced via direct email to parents.  Only those students that attended the rehearsal on September 10th are eligible to perform at this event.  
Sept. 24 Ovilla Heritage Days Fall Festival:  11:15:  Flight of the Bumble Bee,1,2,3,  Bee My Little Baby Bumble Bee, Everybody Dance      Noon:  Club Can't handle Me Now,  1,2,3, Firework, Hasta La Vista, The Bird.   Downtown Ovilla Fall Festival Grounds behind the Ovilla City offices.  
Oct. 1 Rehearsal for October  fall performances  11am - noon.  Baby,  Everybody Dance Remix,  Hasta La Vista, The Bird   bring a bottled water & snack     
Oct. 8 Country Day on the Hill Cedar Hill performance routines will be announced via direct email to parents.  Time 11:15am.  We perform on the Main Tent Stage located at Cedar & Houston St. in Downtown Cedar Hill.  You must catch a chartered bus at Cedar Hill High School's parking lot @ #1 Longhorn Dr. Cedar Hill, TX  75104 or you will not be able to make this performance.  They do not allow any downtown parking.  The parade starts at 10am and buses quit running at 9:30am until after the parade at 11:15am. After the parade, the buses run constantly & regularly all day long.  
Oct. 8 Oktberfest Celebration Lancaster  performance at Lancaster Town Square @ 200 S. Centre St. Lancaster TX  75146.  Routines to perform will be announced via direct email to parents.  We perform on the Main Performance Stage @ 3pm.
Oct. 15 Midlothian Fall Festival performance  -  Time - To Be Announced - dance routines will be determined by the amount of time the Chamber of Commerce allocates.  Midlothian is different from any other festival or event we perform at.  All other performances/venues , they contact us to perform, and are thrilled to have us perform and of course, at no charge.  In Midlothian, with this Chamber of Commerce event, it is necessary to request a performance time, it must be approved and it is required to pay a $75 participation / demonstration fee... as soon as I know anything about Midlothian's festival in the parking lot of the Multipurpose stadium, information will be sent via email.  Stage Door School of Dance is a Chamber of Commerce member and the performance / Demonstration fee has been paid.  Performers are not allowed to dance on the stage; we will be performing in the parking lot, so if possible, wear an old pair of dance shoes; as textured concrete ruins dance shoes.     Routines to perform will be announced  as soon as possible via direct email to parents.
Oct. 24 - 28 Wear Halloween costume to classes this week.  For tumbling classes make sure student can still tumble in the costume they will be wearing to class... bring all necessary  dance shoes to dance classes. 
Oct. 29 Red Oak Fall Festival performance.  Performance time:  6:30pm.  Routines that will perform will be announced through direct email to dancer's parents'.   Festival held outside in front of the disc jockey's stage at the Pearce Park & Red Oak Muncipal Center  200 Lakeview Parkway  Red Oak, 75154  Please be 30 minutes early. 
Oct. 31 No Classes Halloween
Nov. 19 Christmas Parade:   at Uptown Village in Cedar Hill.  7:30am.  Please remember that we have a performance later that morning at the Uptown Village and younger dancers may not be able to handle participating in both the parade and the performance depending on nap times.  You may need to choose to participate in one or the other if you feel your little one might need their morning nap.

Dec. 5 Christmas Parade -meeting place:  Back Alley Plaza - 4:45pm (behind the dance school) the parade starts at Wells Fargo Bank near the 8th St. Bridge.  We will load and unload behind the dance studio at the Back Alley Plaza.              
Dec. Tumblers perform at Varsity Boys Basketball Game.  Arrive at Midlothian High School Boys Gym at 7pm.  We will practice and then perform at halftime of game at approximately 8:30pm ish... Go Panthers !!

Jan. Yoga workshop for kids and parents. 11:30am  Instructor:  Lisa Ware  Come play, laugh and have fun with yoga for ages 5-105.  Join us on the mat, you will leave feeling relaxed, and your kids will leave ready for a nap! Cost:  $10 per person or $15 for Mom & student.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
Jan. Hip Hop Workshop with Lauren Outlaw - Beginner - Int  10-11:30am  ---  Int. - Adv.  11:30 - 1pm  bring a friend ! ages 5 & up.  $20 per student.  Open enrollment. Students do not have to be enrolled in Stage Door to attend.

April 15 Dance for the Planet Performance - Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts - time:  3pm  The following routines will perform:  Flight of the Bumble Bee & Firework - Odyssey Dance Team
April Maypole dance @ Spring Fling @ Larkin Newton Cabin area - Heritage Park - 11am  ish   all ballet dancers perform.
April 30 - May 4 National Dance Week - choreograph a dance for your class & receive a  certificate at awards ceremony at recital.
May 14-18 Pictures in costume during class at the dance studio-  Bring all costumes, tights, hair products, make-up, accessories & shoes. 
May 19 Rehearsal at dance studio.  All dancers.  10am - 1pm  A schedule of when your dancer will rehearse will be emailed. Please wear dance attire, Stage Door Tee shirt or recital cast tee-shirt over dancewear or stretchy shorts.  Bring socks if wearing shorts or wear tights under shorts.  Bring a sack lunch  and drink with child's name in big letters on the sack. No Lunchboxes.   Bring a bottled water.  It is very important that all dancers in the show attend.  When even one student is absent it effects the entire class for spacing and blocking.   Some performers will be there the entire rehearsal.  The rehearsal lessons are paid for through June's tuition payment.
June 2 Rehearsal at dance studio.  All dancers and tumblers will rehearse.  A schedule of when your dancer or tumbler will rehearse will be emailed.    Please wear dance attire or recital cast tee-shirt over dancewear or stretchy shorts.  Bring socks if wearing shorts or wear tights under shorts.   Bring a bottled water.   It is very important that all dancers and tumblers attend.  When even one student is absent it effects the entire class for spacing and blocking.  Some performers will be there the entire time.    The rehearsal lessons are paid for through June's tuition payment.
